NOVEMBER NEWS

Psalm 32:1-2  Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sin is put out of sight!  Yes, what joy for those whose record the Lord has cleared of guilt, whose lives are lived in complete honesty!

We are quickly approaching Thanksgiving day, a day set aside to give thanks to God!  I have so many things to be thankful for, but the greatest thing I am thankful for is God’s love and forgiveness towards me. His forgiveness in my life truly brings me pure joy. I certainly have not earned it nor do I deserve it.  But… through His love and compassion towards me He sent His Son to die that I might be forgiven, saved and set free.  In that freedom I also received the greatest joy possible, a relationship with the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Since that day I received the Father’s free gift, my life has not been the same. My Father in heaven has given me a new direction, vision and purpose.  It has been an incredible journey thus far and I look forward to the future.  As we prepare for Thanksgiving Day I pray that you will join me as I say; “Blessed be the Name of the Lord, for His mercy endures forever!”

On Sunday October 12, God showed up at Antioch in ways that will only be completely revealed in eternity. We experienced His presence and power in countless ways. During our time of communion, people all over the room were making decisions for Christ.  God was breaking chains and setting folks free.  I am looking forward to hearing testimonies throughout the next coming weeks and months of exactly how God is working in their lives.  The human will is a powerful thing, it is amazing how we can make incredible changes in our lives, but only God can transform the human heart. I believe on that paticular morning God was transforming the hearts of many. Because of the power of God’s word, chains were broken and people were set free!! In 1 Corinthians 15:10 Paul proclaimed “whatever I am now, it is because God poured out His favor on me.”I proclaim this same statement over Antioch; “whatever we are now is because God poured out His favor on us!!”

First and foremost I thank God for His faithfulness! But I also thank all of you for supporting this incredible ministry.  Tammy and I are here because of your faith in God and love for us. Thank you for your prayers and financial support.  I would ask all of you to continue to pray as we grow.  We know when God is doing a great work because the enemy is not far behind.  Our God is stronger and faithful but we must remain focused on Him and His ways.  As the holidays quickly approach us, remember to give God all the glory, praise and honor!  May the Lord bless you and pour out His favor upon you!

Free in Him, Pastor Scott
