FASTING DAYS 11- 15

All the information you see here is taken from the Jentzen Franklin 21 day fasting journal.

DAY ELEVEN:

I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation. 2 Corinthians 6:2

Offer to God thanksgiving and pay your vows to the Most High. Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me. Psalm 50:14-15

Today, Pray for God’s favor in your life. Place that I am experiencing the favor of the Lord and the expansion of my “territory”.

For your journal: Humility is a discipline and not something that just comes naturally. Fasting places one truly in the hands of God, dependent upon Him for spiritual nourishment in the absence of physical nourishment.  Journal how this experience has humbled you and made you trust God more.

DAY TWELVE:

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, they follow me. John 10:27

Today, pray for right relationships and Kingdom connections. Which relationships are draining? Which are supporting you? People can be blessings or tools of the enemy. Pray about your relationships.

For you journal: What has God revealed to you personally? Reflect on what it means to present your body as a living sacrifice through a time of fasting?

DAY THIRTEEN:

But God has so composed the body, giving greater honor to the part that lacked it, that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another. If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together.

Today, pray for the body of Christ.

For your journal: What are the various ways you can experience guidance from God? Reflect on how you can resist more temptation in these next days as the hunger pangs continue.

DAY FOURTEEN:

Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 1 John 4:1

Today, pray for discernment over people, situations and opportunities. Be sensitive to His Spirit.

For your journal: Praise God for bringing you this far, and thank Him for His steadfast presence.

DAY FIFTEEN:

As each one has received a gift, minister it to ne another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 1 Peter 4:10

Today, pray for the revealing of gifts, spiritual and personal. Are you using your gift to glorify God and advance the kingdom.

For your journal: Reflect on how worship and obedience have provided you with the opportunity for God to reveal Himself and His purposes to you, His special servant.
