February 2009

Great Commandments Ministries (GCM) sends a team of seven young adults to San Miguel de Allende to plant an English-speaking church.

March 2009

Antioch Bible Community opens its doors.

2010

God supernaturally connects Scott and Tammy Provins with GCM, setting into motion the handing over of the church.

June 3, 2010

The Provins move to Mexico to take over the leadership of Antioch.

2011

Antioch becomes an established church and changes their name to Antioch Community OutReach, now known as Antioch Church.

2014

Antioch church is able to move out of the hotel, our meeting place for many years and move into our own space which we rent here in San Miguel. We followed God’s leading and have begun Spanish interpretation for the service. Our whole service is in English and Spanish, we are a bilingual church.

2016

We have been in our building for over a year and a half and God is moving. Our congregation had doubled in size and God is transforming lives.

2020

We continue to grow as a family of believers. We moved buildings due to COVID. We were meeting out doors for over a year.

2022

We moved to a new location and are now back into a regular building. Our services are still in English and Spanish and we are reaching the community for Christ.
